Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Tandoor Chef with strong knowledge of traditional Indian tandoor cooking. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing high-quality tandoori dishes, breads, kebabs, and other specialty items while maintaining consistency, food safety, and kitchen standards.

Responsibilities

- Prepare ingredients and meals for tandoor cooking, following established recipes and kitchen procedures.
- Cook dishes to order, monitor quality and timing, and coordinate serving with the food service team.
- Handle ingredients safely, maintain a clean and organized workstation, and follow food safety practices.
- Communicate with colleagues about orders and preparation needs. Your impact: timely, well-prepared dishes help the team serve guests smoothly.
- Follow Alberta food safety and sanitation regulations.

Qualifications





- Previous experience as a Tandoor Chef in an Indian restaurant is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of traditional Indian tandoor cooking techniques.
- Experience preparing naan, roti, kebabs, tikka, and tandoori specialties.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
- Knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and kitchen sanitation.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Pay: $4,500.00-$5,000.00 per month
