What You’ll Be Doing

- Perform maintenance, repairs, and servicing on commercial trucks, transport vehicles, and heavy-duty equipment.
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and performance-related issues using your technical knowledge and diagnostic tools.
- Complete inspections and preventative maintenance to keep vehicles and equipment operating safely and reliably.
- Troubleshoot complex mechanical problems and determine the most effective repair solutions.
- Maintain accurate service records,



inspection reports, and repair documentation.
- Work alongside other skilled technicians to ensure repairs are completed efficiently and to a high standard.
- Identify potential issues before they become major problems.
- Maintain a safe, organized, and professional shop environment.

What You’ll Bring

- Red Seal certification as a Commercial Transport Mechanic, Heavy Duty Equipment Technician, or Automotive Service Technician.
- Strong hands-on experience with commercial vehicles, transport trucks, or heavy-duty equipment.
- Solid mechanical diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
- Experience using diagnostic tools, equipment, and technical resources.
- A strong commitment to safety, quality workmanship, and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently while contributing positively to a team.
- Valid driver’s license and a reliable driving record.

The Work Environment

This is a hands-on, in-person position based primarily in a well-established shop environment in Maple Ridge. You’ll be working directly with vehicles and equipment, supported by a team that understands the importance of quality repairs and reliable service.
