Overview

The Edgeband Operator runs and monitors equipment used to apply edge banding to manufactured components. The role involves preparing materials, following production instructions, checking finished work, and maintaining an orderly work area. Careful operation and quality checks help colleagues keep production moving and deliver consistent components for assembly and packaging.

Responsibilities

- Set up and operate edgebanding and related CNC equipment according to job specifications and safe work procedures.
- Read blueprints and production instructions; use calipers and basic math to verify dimensions and product quality.
- Handle materials with appropriate equipment, complete packaging tasks, and keep tools and the work area organized.
- Identify equipment or quality issues, record relevant details, and communicate them promptly to the team.

Qualifications

Required: Practical mechanical knowledge, blueprint reading, basic math, attention to quality,



and the ability to use hand tools and measuring equipment support accurate, secure production work. Preferred: Manufacturing, machining, warehouse, or assembly experience is helpful, along with familiarity with CNC, CNC programming,and forklifts.

The training period will take place on afternoon shift which runs Monday to Thursday, 3:10pm to 1:10am. Once training is complete, the successful candidates will move to weekend shift full time which runs Friday to Sunday, 7am to 7pm. If no time is missed during the weekend shift, a 4 hour shift premium will be paid.

Pay: $17.99-$39.27 per hour
