We are currently recruiting a Personal Support Worker for our female client with Multiple Sclerosis who requires assistance with Activities of Daily Living. She is an independent, gentle individual who values a professional yet warm relationship with her PSW.

Someone patient, adaptable, with a calm presence would be ideal.

The employer is introverted, artistically curious, interested in alternative medicines and meditation

Location:

- Victoria (Near James Bay Community Centre)

Shifts & Hours of Work:

- Tuesdays and Saturdays: 4:00pm to 7:00pm
- Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays: 8:00am to 11:00am

Compensation:

- $25 per hour

Responsibilities will include (but may not be limited to):

- Personal care including showering preparation and support, dressing assistance
- Medication assistance (reminders)
- Maintain a clean and organized home
- Meal preparation, cooking and meal planning
- Assist with passive stretching exercises
- Grocery and supply pick ups

Required Qualifications:

- Caregiving experience required (minimum 6 months)
- Comfortable working in an environment with a cat and assisting with care tasks
- Must be a non-smoker/non-vaper




- First Aid and CPR certification an asset
- Someone who is physically fit
- Class 5 Driver's License an asset
