Salary: $65,000- $72,000 per year
Must Have: 5+ years of health and wellness program management experience, including at least 2 years in a leadership role. Valid LPN or RPN licence is mandatory.

Your Role in a Snapshot:

The Health & Wellness Manager leads the development and delivery of wellness programs that promote the health, safety, and quality of life of residents and staff. This role oversees the wellness team, manages program budgets, and ensures initiatives align with organizational goals and regulatory requirements.

Your Day to Day:

- Develop and oversee health and wellness programs, events, and initiatives.

- Lead, coach, and supervise the wellness team, supporting training and professional development.

- Manage wellness budgets, vendors, contracts, and resources.

- Establish and monitor KPIs to measure program effectiveness and outcomes.

- Collaborate with Nursing, HR, Recreation, and external healthcare partners.

- Promote resident and staff engagement through wellness initiatives and educational programs.

- Monitor program performance, collect feedback, and implement improvements.

- Prepare reports and updates for senior leadership.

- Ensure programs meet applicable regulatory, safety, and organizational standards.





What You Bring to the Table:

Education and Experience:

- Bachelor's degree in Health Promotion, Public Health, Kinesiology, Psychology, or a related field.

- 5+ years of experience in health and wellness program management, including 2+ years in a leadership role.

- Experience managing budgets, vendors, and teams.

- CPR/First Aid or relevant professional certifications are assets.

- An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

Skills and Abilities:

- Strong leadership, communication, and team-building skills.

- Excellent organizational and project management abilities.

- Financial management and budget oversight experience.

- Solid analytical, reporting, and problem-solving skills.

- Ability to build relationships with residents, families, staff, and community partners.

- Ability to maintain confidentiality and manage competing priorities.
