Job Summary

The Full time Hours Pharmacist supports safe, effective medication use through attentive patient care, clear communication, and accurate handling of medication-related information. The role works with patients and care teams to support treatment needs, explain medication information, and contribute to coordinated care in hospital or acute care settings.

Responsibilities

- Review medication information and support appropriate medication administration in coordination with the care team.
- Provide patient care by answering medication questions, explaining instructions in clear language, and using medical terminology accurately.
- Communicate relevant medication details with colleagues and maintain clear, accurate records.
- Support care for patients across age groups, including pediatric patients, while following established procedures.

Experience

Required: Practical patient care skills, accurate communication, familiarity with medical terminology, and the ability to support medication administration safely and attentively. Preferred: Hospital experience and acute care experience, along with exposure to pediatrics, are valuable strengths for supporting varied patient needs and collaborating effectively with care teams.

Pay: $42.60-$50.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
