This role reports to the Divisional Controller and will gain exposure to the full cycle of accounting and all matters impacting the financial team on site.

Youll Do:

- Preparation and processing of various month-end duties including journal entries financial statement package related mandatory reporting and general ledger reconciliations
- Coordination and compilation of the annual business plan
- Assisting mill management in department cost control cost/benefit analysis and providing financial information and recommendations
- Collaborate with operational and technical teams to collect information supporting actual financial results and forecasting future results
- Tracking and reporting of Capital Projects and Major Maintenance Projects

You have:

- A professional accounting designation (CPA) or be enrolled in a designated accounting program
- A robust computer systems skill set
- Well-established organizational and multi-tasking skills
- Good verbal and written communication abilities
- A detailed and proactive approach to work
- A high level of motivation

Compensation Package:

- The salary range for this position may vary depending on experience education and location. The yearly salary range is between $95000-$120000.
