Reporting to the Chef of Restaurants or Banquet Chef responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:

- Communicate with external and internal guests alike to plan and execute special requests
- Organize execute and ensure completion to standard from mise en place to finished products for either BEO or outlet orders
- Ensure quality standards and health and safety standards are met and followed by colleagues as well as all Hotel policies
- Other duties as assigned

Qualifications :

- Minimum 2 years experience as a 2nd cook in all aspects of high volume à la carte and banquet environment
- Experience in fast-paced banquet kitchen and restaurant is required
- Able to work calmly and in high-pressure situations
- Project a positive attitude
- Strong organizational skills
- Developed culinary style and up-to-date with food & beverage current trends
- Must be flexible with scheduled hours of work and be able to work all shifts

Additional Information :

Physical Aspects of Position (included but not limited to):

- Constant standing and walking throughout shift
- Frequent lifting and carrying up to 30 lbs
- Occasional kneeling pushing pulling
