Maintain sewing equipment at Canada Goose’s Winnipeg manufacturing facility, combining hands-on troubleshooting, repairs, setup work, and production support.

The Mechanical Service Person reports to the Plant Manager and maintains production and facility equipment through safety, predictive, and productive maintenance systems. You will assist with sewing machine setup, connect Leadtec terminals, install facility signage, and support changing production layouts. The position also requires organized responses to maintenance requests and careful equipment handling.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist mechanics setting up sewing machines for production lines
- Connect electric power boxes and Leadtec terminals
- Install signage, KPI boards, and policy cabinets




- Change defective sewing floor light bulbs
- Maintain parts, supplies, and maintenance equipment

Requirements:

- Two years’ sewing equipment operation and maintenance experience
- High School diploma or GED required
- Building trades certificate considered an asset
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to prioritize and handle challenges
