Maintain clean, safe buildings through floor care, sanitation, and heavy cleaning duties as a Custodian serving patients, visitors, and staff.

This Custodian/Janitor role focuses on orderly facilities and thorough environmental cleaning. You will sanitize surfaces, remove rubbish, clean floors, shampoo carpets, and wash walls and glass. Success requires following procedures, instructions, and infection control plans.

Key Responsibilities:

- Collect and dispose of trash using approved procedures
- Dust and damp mop floors according to procedures
- Sanitize assigned areas using designated materials and equipment
- Wash walls, windows, furniture, and baseboards
- Strip, scrub, buff, refinish floors, and shampoo carpets

Requirements:

- Previous housekeeping or custodian experience is an asset
- WHMIS and BSW certifications are assets
- Good command of spoken and written English
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Physical ability to perform all job aspects
