Manage laboratory waste, supplies, and safety tasks at Apotex during the Monday-to-Friday afternoon shift. Support compliant daily laboratory operations.

As a Lab Assistant, you will execute Apotex’s laboratory waste disposal program while maintaining clean glassware and washing areas. Responsibilities include handling liquid waste, lab packs, syringes, and vial waste under established protocols. You will also support supplies, equipment, and records.

Key Responsibilities:

- Collect liquid, lab pack, syringe, and vial laboratory waste
- Dispose of laboratory waste according to established protocols
- Perform dissolution bath cleaning and apparatus maintenance
- Replace gas cylinders and maintain laboratory equipment supplies
- Provide clerical support and complete related assigned duties

Requirements:

- Secondary School Diploma or equivalent
- Proficiency communicating in written and verbal English
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office and laboratory software programs
- Laboratory setting experience would be an asset
- Ability to perform repetitive lifting up to 50 pounds
