This Catering Sales Manager develops hotel business through direct sales efforts and tactical sales plans. The role secures new accounts, maintains existing relationships, and coordinates events with hotel operations. Responsibilities include proposals, contracts, Banquet Event Orders, client follow-up, and departmental communication. Hotel and food and beverage operations knowledge is preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prospect and qualify business across corporate, social, and association markets
• Negotiate rates, meeting space, services, and catering arrangements
• Prepare contracts, proposals, forecasts,
  
  
  
  and Banquet Event Orders
• Coordinate event details with hotel departments and banquet operations
• Inspect function rooms and follow up with guests after events

Requirements:

• Some college and one to two years sales experience
• Hotel or catering-related experience; equivalent combinations considered
• Fluent English and proficiency in Microsoft Office and Delphi
• Valid drivers license and ability to travel when required
• Availability for nights, weekends, holidays, and Manager on Duty coverage
