Provide resident care as a Health Care Aide at AgeCare Shawnee in Calgary, working regular full-time evenings with the care team.

Under a Licensed Practical Nurse’s supervision, you will deliver secure, thorough basic care and services. Your work includes personal care, transfers, feeding, treatments, mobility assistance, and resident activities. Collaboration supports resident comfort and well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

- Bath, shower, and wash residents using required temperature controls
- Assist transfers using lifts, transfer belts, and protective equipment
- Feed residents according to individual care plans
- Provide routine treatments under Staff Nurse direction
- Accompany residents to meals, therapy, and recreation

Requirements:

- Recognized Personal Care Aide or equivalent education certificate
- Active CLHA registration as required
- Fluent English communication, orally and in writing
- One year of continuing care experience preferred
- Post-secondary education considered an asset
