This position is ideally suited for a skilled operator who can independently set up tooling, interpret spool drawings, and produce accurate, repeatable bends in a production environment.Key Responsibilities:Set up and operate rotary draw/mandrel bending equipmentSelect and install bend dies, clamp dies, pressure dies, wiper dies, and mandrelsRead and interpret spool drawings, fabrication drawings,



and work ordersProduce high-quality bends that meet customer specifications and tolerancesVerify dimensions and perform in-process quality inspectionsTroubleshoot tooling, setup, and production issuesSafely handle pipe, tube, and tooling using overhead cranes and shop equipmentSet up machines for each specific orderHandle raw material and finished product as neededBend and roll various materials and profilesPerform other shop duties including torch cutting, saw cutting, washing, sand filling, etc.Measure and inspect in-process and finished productVerify calibration of measuring devicesLabel and package finished product as neededPerform machine lubrication, maintenance, and work station upkeepAssist with shipping and receiving when necessaryWorking in accordance with documented policies and proceduresComplete all applicable quality recordsWhat You Bring:Solid verbal and written communication skills including the ability to communicate effectively, tactfully, and persuasivelySelf-starter, with the ability to work efficiently in a team environmentAbility to multi-task and prioritize effectivelyDetail-oriented, analytical, with good organizational skillsQuick study, proactive, solutions orientedInnovative and open to new conceptsInterested in assisting the growth of the company, increasing efficiency and service, and increasing the effectiveness of the team as a wholeAbility to read and interpret spool drawings and fabrication drawingsMust have basic math skillsAble to accurately read a tape measureMust be legally eligible to work in CanadaHigh school diploma or GED equivalentMinimum 5 years of rotary draw/mandrel bending experienceProficiency in multiple bending processes (minimum 6 months)Materials knowledge, shop procedures (minimum 6 months)Material handling experience (minimum 6 months)Experience performing complete tooling setups and machine changeoversStrong understanding of:Pipe and tube sizesMaterial grades and specificationsWall thicknesses and pipe schedulesOverhead crane and fabrication experience considered an assetSchedule:8-hour shiftMonday to Friday, Available for shift work (afternoons)Thank you for your interest in Advanced Bending Technologies.
