Modernize Resmed services in Halifax through Java, microservices, RESTful APIs, and end-to-end ownership within a hybrid team.

As a Software Engineer, you’ll help strengthen the platform Resmed teams use to communicate with patients and healthcare providers. Your work spans coding, architecture, service modernization, testing, deployment, and production support. The roadmap includes current channels, consumer and provider functionality, and AI-powered routing and optimization.

Key Responsibilities:

- Maintain production services supporting communications
- Make architectural decisions with engineering partners
- Reduce technical debt through service modernization
- Deliver testing, deployment, and operational support
- Build reliable solutions for long-term scale

Requirements:

- Expert-level Java and clean code knowledge
- Strong object-oriented design foundation
- RESTful API, authentication, and authorization experience
- Microservices and relational or NoSQL database experience
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, messaging, or event-driven systems
