Coordinate Christmas Kettle operations for The Salvation Army in Duncan, BC, using scheduling, supervision, and customer service skills. This is a temporary, part time position.

The Assistant Kettle Coordinator supports campaign locations across a geographical zone, including malls, grocery stores, and retail outlets. You will organize staff and volunteers, maintain coverage, and help secure donations. The position also involves communicating campaign issues, supporting kettle logistics, and answering donor questions about Salvation Army ministries and programs.

Key Responsibilities:

- Schedule, assign, and supervise kettle workers and volunteers
- Coordinate daily kettle delivery and pickup between locations
- Ensure donations reach secure locations after shifts




- Visit sites during shift changes and campaign operations
- Submit accurate timesheets, mileage reports, and campaign data

Requirements:

- Some high school coursework; completion is an asset
- At least one year of related or customer service experience
- Office administration and Microsoft Word and Excel experience
- Valid British Columbia Class 5 license and personal vehicle
- Ability to lift 9 to 12 kilograms
