Use PLC troubleshooting and electrical diagnostics as an Industrial Electrician in Port Colborne, Ontario, supporting full-time manufacturing operations across rotating shifts.

This union position reports to the Maintenance Manager and supports electrical and automation systems throughout manufacturing and forging operations. The licensed electrician installs, troubleshoots, repairs, maintains, and improves production equipment. Work includes motors, drives, control panels, transformers, power distribution, sensors, VFDs, servos, HMIs, and communication networks.

Key Responsibilities:

- Troubleshoot PLC-controlled systems and automated production equipment
- Diagnose sensors, relays, contactors, VFDs, servos, and HMIs
- Install and maintain industrial electrical systems and machinery




- Support control-system upgrades and continuous improvement projects
- Respond to breakdowns and emergency maintenance requirements

Requirements:

- Valid Ontario Industrial Electrician 442A Certificate of Qualification
- Three to five years of industrial maintenance experience preferred
- Robust electrical control-system troubleshooting abilities
- Experience with Allen-Bradley, Siemens, or equivalent PLC systems
- Knowledge of electrical codes and safety standards
