Prepare bakery products for Deer Park Food Store customers through slicing, donut frying, oven use, and careful product labeling. Work casually under 24 hours weekly, with morning, afternoon, and evening availability on weekdays and weekends.

This Bakery Clerk position supports production as directed by bakers and helps prepare products for the following day. Central Alberta Co-op gives strong preference to CAC candidates and participates in the Alberta Youth Incentive Program for youth aged 15 to 24. Prior bakery experience is an asset, but training is available.

Key Responsibilities:

- Perform bakery preparation using slicers, fryers, and ovens
- Assist in production as directed by bakers
- Set up products for the following day




- Package and label products accurately for sale
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment

Requirements:

- Excellent communication skills for customer and team interactions
- Solid organizational skills for bakery tasks
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Bakery experience is an asset; training is available
