Deliver personal care and safety-focused support at Fenelon Court as a part time Personal Support Worker with Extendicare. Protect resident dignity daily.

Working under a supervisor, you will provide selected care tasks within your knowledge and skill. Responsibilities include assisting residents with personal hygiene, daily activities, transfers, nutrition, and equipment. You will observe and report care needs, condition changes, and safety concerns using appropriate forms or tools. The role also includes responding to concerns, engaging agencies as directed, attending in-services, and upholding Extendicare’s ethics, morality, and integrity standards.

Key Responsibilities:

- Observe and document care using Extendicare forms or tools
- Report changes and concerns to the appropriate supervisor




- Maintain resident information confidentiality and protected surroundings
- Respond to resident, client, and family concerns
- Attend in-services to develop knowledge and skills

Requirements:

- Personal Support Worker certificate or provincial equivalent qualification
- Senior community health services experience
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Ability to lift and transfer clients when necessary
- Current Vulnerable Sector Check or willingness to obtain
