Westman Groundworks is hiring experienced operators for skid steers, loaders and plow trucks.

This is an on-call, weather-dependent position. Operators can expect full shifts whenever Brandon receives approximately 2 inches or more of snow. Additional work such as snow hauling, equipment maintenance and shop work may be available.

DUTIES

  • Operate snow-removal equipment safely and efficiently
  • Follow assigned routes and maintain route timing
  • Keep equipment clean, greased and properly maintained
  • Check fluids and report damage or mechanical concerns
  • Document completed properties and communicate with supervisors

REQUIREMENTS

  • Valid Class 5 driver?s licence
  • Heavy-equipment operating experience
  • Phone with an active data plan
  • Able to work independently or as part of a team
  • Available for long shifts, nights, weekends and holidays
  • Snow-removal experience, a Class 3 licence and an air-brake endorsement are assets.

Compensation is competitive based on experience and skill level.
