Lead counselling teams at YMCA Camp Pine Crest in Torrance, Ontario, using coaching and camper-care expertise across a seasonal contract.

The Senior Counselling Supervisor supports camper care and program quality at an overnight YMCA camp. You will supervise Counsellors, MACKs, and Counselling Supervisors while guiding responses to complex camper situations. The position also supports training, appraisals, family communication, and camp-wide operations.

Key Responsibilities:

- Train, coach, motivate, and monitor camp staff performance
- Guide responses to complex camper situations and escalating conflicts
- Supervise Counsellors and MACKs during programming
- Plan section nights and camper cabin programs




- Serve as counselling contact when the Coordinator is unavailable

Requirements:

- Minimum three years working with children and youth
- Previous staff supervision and mentoring experience
- First Aid and CPR certification meeting Ontario requirements
- Strong organizational, administrative, and interpersonal skills
- Availability for diverse days, evenings, overnights, weekends, and holidays
