This full time Lawyer position supports clients navigating Canadian immigration authorities and processes. You will research cases, prepare legal writing, negotiate effectively, and provide guidance on immigration pathways. The work includes visa applications, ITCs, and permanent residency matters.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct legal research and analysis supporting client cases
- Represent clients before Canadian immigration authorities
- Assist with visa applications, ITCs, and permanent residency
- Guide clients on immigration pathways, strategies, and policies
- Monitor changes in immigration law and policy
Requirements:
- Expertise in legal writing and drafting
- Strong analytical and legal research capabilities
- Excellent negotiation skills
- Good standing with the Law Society of British Columbia
- JD or LLB from a Canadian law school
