Under a Manager or designate, this supervisor directs Medical Device Reprocessing staff according to infection prevention, decontamination, sterilization, and aseptic technique principles. The role supports Northern Health’s mission, vision, values, strategic priorities, and departmental objectives. It also provides staff resources and performs sterile supply duties.

Key Responsibilities:

- Supervise Medical Device Reprocessing department staff
- Provide work direction and maintain scheduled work completion
- Monitor expenditures, equipment, and supply inventory
- Draft and recommend policy and procedure changes




- Perform sterile supply duties as required

Requirements:

- Clinical expertise in relevant departmental practices
- Proven leadership skills focused on positive outcomes
- Knowledge of infection prevention and decontamination principles
- Knowledge of sterilization and aseptic technique
- Ability to serve as a resource for staff
