IS2 Workforce Solutions is recruiting for experienced Welder/Fitters for a steel manufacturing client in the Holland Landing area.

$27-$30/hour - Based On Experience Shifts Available: Days: 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM Afternoons: 2:00 PM - 11:00 PM.

The Role

We are looking for 2 experienced Welder/Fitters, with a strong focus on fitting, to join a busy structural steel manufacturing environment.

Duties

- Fit and weld structural steel components using MIG welding
- Read and interpret shop drawings and welding diagrams
- Measure, position, align, and assemble steel components
- Work with custom steel components and assemblies
- Use hand tools, torches, and other fabrication equipment
- Inspect completed work for quality and accuracy
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow all workplace safety procedures and PPE requirements

Requirements





- 3+ years of structural steel welding and fitting experience
- Strong fitting skills and MIG welding experience
- Ability to read and understand shop drawings
- Experience working in a steel fabrication or manufacturing environment
- Robust attention to detail
- Good mechanical aptitude
- Comfortable with physically demanding work
- Safety-conscious and reliable
- Overhead crane and rigging experience
- CWB certification
- TSSA tickets
- Custom steel fabrication experience
