We are currently seeking a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Cleaner to join our client's team in Markham, ON. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in their work, is comfortable with physical tasks, and enjoys keeping a workplace clean and well-maintained. Location: Markham, ON Pay Rate: $18.50 per hour Shift: Monday–Friday, 9:30 AM–6:00 PM

RESPONSIBILITIES

- As required by the cleaning schedule, sweep, wet mop and machine clean, as appropriate to the type of surface within the area to ensure a safe and healthy environment.
- Includes aisles, stairs, rail pit and office area.
- Daily replenishment of packaging/shipping supplies.
- Daily emptying of trash and garbage containers to ensure the timely removal of waste.
- Reporting any faults or difficulties encountered with cleaning e.g., broken glass, faulty light bulbs, and loose wires.




- Report faults to the Operations Management Team.
- To clear the snow from entrance way and walkways, salt if necessary.
- To promote a clean, secure and positive work environment.
- Assumes additional related responsibilities as required.

EXPERIENCE

- Requires general internal training to perform function.
- Some previous cleaning experience is desirable, but not essential as on-the-job training can be given.
- Some knowledge of cleaning machinery, e.g., sweeper is desirable.
- Some High School, preferably a High School Diploma

WORKING CONDITIONS

- Able to commit to a flexible work schedule, including overtime and weekends when required.
- Works 100% of their time on the warehouse floor, walking, standing, and bending.
- Capable of lifting up to 50lbs repeatedly and safely.
