Guide youth and children through biblical stories, crafts, and games while providing competent supervision at The Salvation Army’s Surrey day camp.

The Summer Day Camp Counsellor helps create an inclusive experience for kindergarten, elementary, and youth participants. Work with staff and volunteers to plan daily artistic, creative, recreational, and hands-on activities. Share Christian faith through story time and interaction, coach children, communicate with parents, and support healthy indoor and outdoor environments.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead biblical games, crafts, stories, and creative activities
- Supervise children and youth during program participation
- Assist recreational programming at local parks
- Set up and clean indoor and outdoor activities




- Support registration, parent communication, and behavioural guidance

Requirements:

- Ability to share Christian faith through diverse activities
- Experience working with children and understanding child development
- First Aid certification or willingness to obtain
- Completion of required abuse and health safety training
- Honesty, initiative, responsibility, adaptability, and teamwork
