As a Mechanic and Operator with National Airport Operations, you will maintain power generating equipment and operate heavy and light equipment. Winter duties include removing snow, ice, water, and other contaminants from airside and groundside airport surfaces. The position requires dependable work in changing weather conditions.

Key Responsibilities:

- Operate snow removal equipment during winter operations
- Remove snow, ice, water, and contaminants from airport surfaces
- Inspect and overhaul power generating equipment
- Complete routine maintenance and equipment repairs




- Document equipment information in electronic systems

Requirements:

- Heavy equipment technician certificate or acceptable equivalent
- Experience operating and maintaining winter maintenance equipment
- Experience diagnosing computerized equipment and electronic control systems
- Valid Class 5 driver’s licence with air brake endorsement
- Ability to work prolonged operational events and varying weather
