Build overhead and underground distribution experience with Elexicon as a Powerline Technician Co-op Student in Ajax, supporting protected line operations.Reporting to the Ajax District Supervisor, you will assist with construction and maintenance of distribution lines and equipment. The work includes systems energized from 120 volts to 44,000 volts, foundations, transformers, switching devices, testing, troubleshooting, and emergency restoration.



You will work under IHSA and company safety standards.Key Responsibilities:Assist with overhead and underground line construction and maintenanceSet equipment foundations and install transformers and switching devicesOperate or learn specialized line maintenance and construction equipmentClimb poles and structures to access distribution systemsRespond to outages, unsafe situations, and restoration emergenciesRequirements:Complete Level 1 or Level 2 Powerline Technician studiesRegister as a Ministry Powerline Technician ApprenticeHold First Aid, CPR, and AED certificationKnow OHSA, EUSA Rule Book, WHMIS, and IHSA requirementsPossess a valid Ontario G or preferably DZ licenceApply your safety knowledge, troubleshooting skills, and powerline training to Elexicon’s Ajax distribution operations and emergency restoration work.#J-18808-Ljbffr
