Operate cranes, magnets, and rigging in Weir’s steel processing operation in Lively, Ontario. This full time onsite job follows rotating day and afternoon shifts.

As a Steel Processing Labourer, you will help keep cutting table operations moving safely and efficiently. Your work includes handling plates and parts, supporting staging, and completing finishing and packaging tasks. You will also maintain equipment, track inventory, and follow zero harm behaviors. The role requires practical tool skills and situational awareness.

Key Responsibilities:

- Use cranes, magnets, and rigging to handle steel plates
- Stage parts to support cutting table efficiency
- Complete grinding, strapping, labeling, and packaging tasks




- Demagnetize plates and maintain operational workflow
- Perform housekeeping and keep stations consistently clean

Requirements:

- Experience operating cranes or working with rigging and magnets
- Ability to follow company safety policies and procedures
- Experience using grinders, torches, hand tools, and pallet jacks
- Strong situational awareness and readiness to work
- Parts or inventory tracking experience is an asset
