Support scientific testing at ALS as a Sample Preparation Technician, using careful sample handling, sieving, crushing, and splitting in laboratory operations.

Within ALS’s Sample Preparation Department, you will prepare client samples for laboratory analysis under the Sample Preparation Manager. The work includes following established procedures and schedules, maintaining analytical quality, and completing production logs. You will also support oven loading, cleaning, and layout tasks while observing safety requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

- Ring, sieve, crush, and split samples under supervision
- Load and unload drying ovens under supervision
- Maintain accurate personal production logs
- Complete general cleaning for laboratory cleanliness
- Use established methods, procedures, and schedules

Requirements:

- Valuable hand eye coordination and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently or within a team
- Basic alphanumeric comprehension
- Basic written and verbal English communication skills
- Manual dexterity for repetitive tasks
