This role is ideal for professionals who take pride in their work, consistently deliver high-quality service, and can operate safely and professionally in a fast-paced workplace while representing the company.We are an equal opportunity employer and encourage applications from all qualified individuals, including Indigenous peoples, visible minorities, and women.ResponsibilitiesSafely operate company vehicles to transport freight across city/local routes and regional lanesComplete deliveries and pickups to customer locations within Winnipeg, Northern ON, Northern Manitoba or Saskatchewan in a safe, timely, and professional mannerOperate tractor-trailer, in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirementsSecure freight using appropriate equipment such as straps, chains, and load bars, ensuring compliance with load-securement standardsConduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections of the vehicle, including checking tires, brakes, lights, and cargo securement; promptly report any issues to the maintenance department for timely repairs.Accurately complete all required documentation, including e-logs, inspection reports, delivery paperwork,



and incident reportsMaintain compliance with hours-of-service regulations, safety policies, and company proceduresMaintain flexibility to meet operational and customer demands, including variable schedules, overtime, weekends, or overnight runs as requiredCore RequirementsValid Class 1 driver's licenseBondable and legally eligible to work in CanadaClean 5 years Commercial driving abstract (no more than 3 demerits and 3 negative events)Verifiable recent commercial driving experience (within the past 3 months to 1 year)Strong understanding of road safety regulations, hours of service, and load securementRequired Sleeper Truck: should not be older than 6 yearsOpen to drive at nightOpen to use Manual/Electric pallet jack, Loading/Unloading and hand bombingExperience operating commercial vehicles in winter driving conditionsAbility to accurately complete eLogs, vehicle inspection reports, and delivery documentationAbility to manually unload skids with a pallet jack and trays with a dolly required for some of the customersPhysically able to lift to 50 lbs regularly and up to 75 lbs as requiredStrong customer service and communication skills with a professional, safety-focused approachRole-Specific RequirementsMinimum 1 year of verifiable Class 1 driving experiencePhysical RequirementsAbility to safely perform hand-bombing, including manual loading and unloading of freight, as requiredBenefitsWe offer ongoing training, dedicated or well-maintained equipment, and opportunities for long-term career growth within our organization.
