Lead financial reporting and accounting operations as Controller with a growing organization in central Ottawa, working full-time on a permanent basis.

This Controller position oversees General Ledger management, financial statements, and complex accounting analysis. The role supports construction-related project compliance, job costing, budgeting, forecasting, and financial controls. You will also mentor the Accounting team and participate in audits.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage the General Ledger and related accounting duties
- Prepare consolidated monthly, quarterly, and annual financial results
- Oversee project billing, costing, tax, and labour compliance
- Review job costing reports and cost allocation fluctuations
- Coordinate budgets, forecasts, audits,



and period-end close

Requirements:

- Previous experience in the construction industry
- Active CPA designation or progress toward CPA designation
- Three-plus years accounting and finance leadership experience
- Strong English oral, written, and communication skills
- Highly organized, team-oriented, and detail-oriented approach
