Lead secure canoe trips at YMCA Camp Pine Crest in Torrance, Ontario, using wilderness tripping expertise and staff mentorship. Work six days weekly.

This seasonal Tripper role supports two-to-five-day overnight canoe trips for campers. You will guide counselling staff, prepare routes, organize gear, and deliver programming. The position also supports outdoor pursuits, camp resources, and daily operations when not travelling.

Key Responsibilities:

- Support counselling staff during cabin canoe trips
- Plan routes and organize food and gear
- Deliver engaging participant programming during trips
- Maintain, inventory, and repair tripping equipment
- Support outdoor pursuits and camp operations

Requirements:

- Experience leading overnight wilderness trips
- Knowledge of canoe, kayak, and whitewater tripping
- First Aid and CPR certification meeting stated requirements
- National Lifeguard certification by employment start
- Minimum age eighteen and physical ability required
