Initiatesand maintains open communication with other members of the team to assure thatthe patient and family receive the full scope of interdisciplinary expertiseand services with a coordinated and integrated plan of care.Communicates with patients, families,subordinate staff and peers to ensure that plans and associated interventionsare understood, operationalized and revised, as appropriate.Implementsnursing actions in accordance with established standards of nursing practiceand established policy.
