Provide renal medical nursing care as a temporary part-time Registered Practical Nurse in Thunder Bay, supporting predictable patient outcomes. Day, evening, night, and weekend shifts may apply.

Reporting to the Manager, Medical Services, you will care for patients in the 2A Nephrology-Medical Inpatient Unit. This role emphasizes Patient and Family Centred Care within Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre. You will work with a multidisciplinary healthcare team while following College of Nurses of Ontario standards, hospital policies, and established care philosophies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide quality nursing care to patients with predictable outcomes
• Use assessment, planning, implementation,
  
  
  
  and evaluation processes
• Develop individualized care plans and deliver nursing interventions
• Recognize abnormal responses and take appropriate action
• Collaborate with Registered Nurses when patients become unstable

Requirements:

• Current unencumbered College of Nurses of Ontario registration
• Current Basic Cardiac Life Support certification
• Recent medical nursing experience with complex patient populations
• Experience caring for renal patient populations
• Robust interprofessional and communication skills
