As a Staff Software Engineer, you will develop software services through network-adjacent virtualized compute platforms. Your work will support cloud-native network software, multi-tenant networking, and customer experiences. You will collaborate on distributed systems, testing, operations, and production support.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design software services extending Equinix networking services
- Implement scalable and effective distributed systems
- Review code and contribute unit and integration tests
- Improve software quality by addressing technical debt
- Support observability, incidents, and production operations

Requirements:

- Five-plus years of software development experience
- Recent, proficient experience with Golang
- Experience building reliable distributed systems
- Knowledge of Kubernetes, Docker, and public cloud services
- Understanding of L2/L3 protocols, gRPC, and Netconf
