Prepare resident meals as a Temporary Cook at Glenora Park in Edmonton, using food handling expertise and therapeutic diet knowledge. Work 6:30am-2:30pm.

Reporting to the Culinary Manager, this full time temporary Cook prepares and delivers food for residents, guests, and employees. The role requires large-quantity preparation experience, preferably in healthcare or retirement settings. You will follow menus, standardized recipes, production charts, dietary procedures, and applicable food regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare and deliver meals for residents, guests, and employees
- Review menus and production sheets before meal preparation
- Prepare therapeutic and specialty diets according to planned menus




- Complete temperature audits for refrigerators, freezers, and storerooms
- Participate in special occasion and theme meal preparation

Requirements:

- Food Handler's Certificate required
- Large-quantity food preparation experience required
- Knowledge of special and therapeutic diets
- Ability to lift heavy, hot items and stand during shifts
- Current Vulnerable Sector Check or willingness to obtain one
