Star Truss seeks Production Workers for full time day and afternoon shifts at its Winnipeg plant. The work includes moving materials, assembling trusses, checking connector plates, and confirming correct material specifications. You will work within management guidelines alongside the Lead Hand or Table Captain and Production Manager. Training is provided on the day shift for two weeks before afternoon-shift work.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist with setting up truss jigs and production tables
- Move materials and assemble trusses from shop drawings
- Check connector plates on both sides of each truss




- Confirm materials meet quality, size, grade, and cut requirements
- Follow safety rules and complete end-of-shift cleanup

Requirements:

- Previous truss manufacturing experience preferred, not required
- No formal training required for the position
- Ability to read and use a tape measure
- Physical ability to handle trusses up to 16 feet long
- CSA approved safety footwear required before commencing work
