Read blueprints and build piping systems as a first or second year Apprentice Pipefitter at Cenovus Christina Lake North near Conklin. Work an 8 on/6 off rotation.

Strike seeks registered first or second year apprentices for oil and industrial construction work. You will assist journeyperson pipefitters with equipment, piping, structural steel, valves, and supports. The work includes fabrication, installation, maintenance, and system reactivation.

Key Responsibilities:

- Interpret red-line drawings, isometrics, and P&IDs;
- Assist journeypersons installing equipment, pipe, and structural steel
- Assemble piping and valves in compressor packages
- Prepare fittings for tacking, hoisting, and rigging
- Measure, cut, thread, hydrotest, and install pipe spools

Requirements:

- Registered first or second year apprentice
- Valid H2S Alive and CSTS 2020 or PST tickets
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug and alcohol testing
- Ability to lift 50 pounds
- Comfort working outdoors

Develop pipefitting experience through blueprint interpretation, fabrication, installation, and protected fieldwork at Strike’s Conklin project.
