Serve residents with compassion as a Dietary Aide, preparing meals, following dietary requirements, and supporting safe, welcoming dining experiences.

Reporting to the Culinary Services Manager, this casual position supports scheduling needs and vacant shifts with flexible schedule. You will assist the cook with preparation, plating, and service while respecting residents’ preferences and special dietary requirements. The work also includes maintaining dining and food storage areas, following food safety practices, and collaborating across departments.

Key Responsibilities:

- Deliver meals pleasantly and courteously to individual residents
- Prepare, plate, and serve food as requested
- Respect resident preferences and special dietary requirements




- Maintain serveries, tables, fridges, freezers, and storage areas
- Load, operate, and empty the dishwasher

Requirements:

- Current food handling certificate or equivalent recent training
- Food service experience is necessary
- Understanding and empathy for seniors’ needs
- Knowledge of food handling, storage, HACCP, and WHMIS
- Required screening, health results, and two supervisory references
