$27.92 - $31.06 Per hour**Indicates the salary listed as per the OPSEU Collective Agreement.Apply By:Thursday, July 16, 2026 11:59 pm EDTAbout the jobIn this role, you will operate and maintain the water and wastewater facilities within the Georgian Highlands Region.ResponsibilitiesOperate wastewater treatment processes to maintain optimal facility performance.Perform routine preventive maintenance and troubleshoot equipment and process issues.Collect and analyze samples, interpret results, and adjust process controls.Maintain accurate logs, write reports, and communicate with team members and stakeholders.Assist in the operation of collections, treater, and distribution systems.QualificationsOperator-in-Training (OIT) to Class IV certificate or license in Water Treatment, Wastewater, Water Distribution, or Collection (O. Reg. 128/04).Valid Class G driver’s license.Availability for overtime, on‑call rotation, and mandating on‑call response.Basic mathematics and chemistry skills for calculations.Proficiency with industrial chemicals, maintenance manuals, and relevant software.Knowledge and SkillsGood knowledge of wastewater treatment processes.Experience with skilled trades maintenance: basic electrical, welding, plumbing, millwright,
