Lead outdoor living skills programming at YMCA Camp Pine Crest in Torrance, Ontario, using camping expertise and staff leadership. Work six days weekly.

The Outdoor Living Skills Program Head coordinates protected, engaging, and inclusive camp programming for cabins and leadership participants. You will guide staff and counsellors, supervise participants, and support program quality, safety, and environmental stewardship. The seasonal contract starts June 20, 2027.

Key Responsibilities:

- Plan and lead shelter building, fire building, and camping skills programs
- Coordinate daily operations across outdoor living skills program areas
- Support staff, counsellors, and camp activities
- Monitor safety, equipment, campsites, and program spaces




- Complete paperwork and support Resource Team assignments

Requirements:

- Minimum two years of camp setting experience
- First Aid and CPR certification meeting WSIB and YMCA requirements
- Ability to mentor staff and provide constructive feedback
- Comfort with public speaking and relationship building
- Flexibility for days, evenings, overnights, weekends, and holidays
