The right people for these positions are passionate about community development, social justice, and are values-aligned with our organization.ABOUT YOUKitsilano Neighbourhood House is looking for enthusiastic, mature, dedicated, and effective team members to work in our Childcare Programs for children aged 0-36 months old.ABOUT THE POSITIONUsing a team approach a Childcare Educator provides a developmentally appropriate Reggio inspired and inclusive quality Daycare Program for children. A Childcare Educator performs all of the following duties:Ensure curriculum and developmentally appropriate practices are in place in the daycareCo-create programming with the staff team and childrenUse innovative methods for documentation and curriculum design such as the use of anecdotal observations, finished products, photographs, and written dialogueAttend meetings and workshops to develop and discuss program curriculum and work competenciesInteract with children and staff to encourage their involvement in activitiesGuide and assist children in the development of proper eating,
