This Food Service Worker II position supports Interior Health’s Support Services team in Penticton, BC. The work includes preparing ingredients, beverages, sandwich fillings, nourishments, therapeutic diet items, tube feedings, and milkshakes. You will also portion meals, serve dining areas, record food temperatures, and complete related service tasks. The opportunity is permanent part time at 0.59, with rotating evening shifts from 15:00 to 19:30.

Key Responsibilities:

- Wash and peel vegetables and fruit
- Prepare meat, fish, and poultry for food procedures
- Measure ingredients for assigned preparation areas




- Prepare therapeutic diet items and tube feedings
- Take and record hot food temperatures

Requirements:

- Grade 10 or equivalent combination of qualifications
- One year’s recent related experience or equivalent
- Food Secure Certificate
- Flexibility for scheduled rotating evening shifts
- Motivation and reliability in food service work
