Use your BC traffic control experience as a Lane Closure Technician across Interior BC, protecting roadworkers, crews, clients, and the public. Transparent communication and safe worksite control are central to this position.

The Universal Group is seeking a Lane Closure Technician for its Traffic Control team. You will set up and tear down worksites, direct other TCPs, complete pre-job paperwork, and communicate with drivers and crews. The position requires current TCP certification, a clean driving record, and weekday availability.

Key Responsibilities:

- Safely set up and tear down worksites
- Protect teams, clients, and the public through safety practices
- Direct other TCPs on site
- Complete and sign FLRAs and TMPs




- Communicate clearly with drivers and traffic personnel

Requirements:

- Minimum six months of BC LCT experience
- Current WorkSafeBC-recognized TCP certification or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
- Smartphone with data plan and mobile dispatch capability
- Availability weekdays across dispatchable Interior BC
