This Student Research Assistant supports applied research within NAIT’s Clean Technology program and its circular economy focus. Working under direct academic supervision, you will assist projects characterizing industrial waste materials and environmental samples. Your work may involve laboratory operations, research searches, presentations, and communication with academic and industry partners.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct routine research tasks requiring limited judgment
- Search information across various media sources
- Draft basic presentation materials and reports




- Maintain laboratory cleanliness and safe work practices
- Summarize results using Word and PowerPoint

Requirements:

- Full time student enrollment from January through December
- Eligible Electrical Engineering Technology or related program
- Understanding of clerical processes and laboratory procedures
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Interest in renewable energy systems and grid behaviour
