Operate liquid waste equipment at GFL Pickering, handling samples, transfers, and plant machinery in a mostly outdoor workplace.

As a Plant Operator in GFL’s Liquids Division, you will receive client waste and support processing activities. The work includes hazardous and non-hazardous waste shipments, standard operating procedures, and safety practices. You will also document assigned work and report incidents.

Key Responsibilities:

- Receive bulk and containerized client waste
- Sample waste vehicles and containers for laboratory analysis
- Load and unload vacuum trucks, tankers, and trailers
- Operate plant machinery and assist with maintenance
- Prepare waste shipments for transport

Requirements:

- Waste management experience is an asset
- Air diaphragm pump experience is an asset
- Bulk liquid transfer experience is an asset
- Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and overtime
- Ability to lift upwards of 50 pounds
