Job OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated In Home Healthcare Assistant to join our healthcare team in providing compassionate and comprehensive care to two clients in their private home. This paid position offers valuable hands‑on experience in a home care setting. The ideal candidate is motivated to develop their nursing skills while supporting clients with a range of needs, including senior care and dementia care. This role provides an excellent opportunity to apply your knowledge in a real‑world workplace while contributing positively to the clients well‑being.Wage:$24/hour, $26/hour on weekends (Saturday and Sunday).Weekdays and weekends as needed.Please note: you must have access to your own transportation.DutiesAssist with medication administrationPerform blood pressure and oxygen readingsAssist with care activities such as bathing, dressing, and mobility assistanceHelp with meal preparation and feeding for clientsEngage in activities that promote client comfort and safety,



including light cleaning and sanitation of care areasProvide companionship and emotional support to clients, specifically those with dementiaAssist with documentation of client observations and care providedSupport with the transferring of clients as needed, ensuring safety procedures are followedQualificationsCurrently enrolled in a nursing program or related healthcare fieldFirst Aid/CPR CertificationVulnerable Sector CheckKnowledge of patient care procedures including medication administration and dementia care techniquesAbility to work compassionately with seniors and individuals with dementiaStrong communication skills and a caring attitude toward clients and their familiesAbility to perform and handle physically demanding tasks such as caregiving and cleaningReliable, responsible, and eager to learn in a home healthcare environmentThis position offers meaningful work experience for aspiring nurses committed to making a difference in the lives of others.Work Location: In person#J-18808-Ljbffr
