Start date is flexible, and there is potential for ongoing full‐time employment following the term.You will join a collaborative team of four General OBGYNs in a busy, well‐supported clinical and hospital workplace. The role includes both office‐based practice and interdisciplinary hospital care.Call Responsibilities1 in 6 home call, shared with OBGYNs and Family Physician ObstetriciansSupported by FP‐OBs with C‐section capability, midwives, and family physicians who manage their own low‐risk patientsAbout Boundary Trails Health CentreBTHC delivers approximately 1,000 babies per year, caring for patients 36+ weeks gestation. The site offers a strong, integrated maternity care model with excellent interdisciplinary support.Hospital Services Include:3‐bed obstetrical triage for inductions, NSTs, and pregnancy concerns (20+ weeks)Obstetrical nursing staff trained in NRP7 Labour & Delivery rooms,



plus antepartum, postpartum, and postoperative recovery spaces24‐hour epidural availability (Family Physician Anesthesia)24/7 operating room access for emergenciesOn‐call Pediatric servicesHospitalist supportSpecial Care UnitGeneral Gynecology OR time: 1–2 slates per month, equitably shared, with scramble time availableAffiliation with the University of Manitoba, with resident involvement and teaching opportunitiesQualificationsDoctor of Medicine with postgraduate training in Obstetrics & GynecologyEligible for certification with the Royal College of Physicians & Surgeons of CanadaEligible for registration with the College of Physicians & Surgeons of ManitobaCurrent NRP certification (Fetal Health Surveillance encouraged but not required)Ability to meet physical and mental demands of the roleCommitment to confidentiality and professional conductStrong work and attendance recordConditions of EmploymentSatisfactory Criminal Record Check, Vulnerable Sector Search, Adult Abuse Registry Check, and Child Abuse Registry CheckValid Class 5 driver's licenseAccess to an all‐purpose insured vehicle with minimum $1,000,000 liability coverage
