Support patient care in Pain Management with the Interlake-Eastern Regional Health Authority at Selkirk Regional Health Centre during day shifts.

This Unit Assistant works within the clinical support stream as part of the health-care team. The position requires ward clerk and Health Care Aide certification, patient-care equipment knowledge, electronic health record competency, and MS Office proficiency. Duties follow established policies and support the Authority’s mission, vision, and values.

Requirements:

• Ward Clerk Certification from a recognized educational institute
• Health Care Aide Certificate from a recognized educational institute
• Current BCLS certification or obtain it within three months
• Demonstrated electronic health record and MS Office proficiency
• Ability to respect confidentiality and culturally diverse populations
